Welcome to the IERG ProD 2018


Calling all Imaginative Educators! Yes, YOU! Our 2018 ProD Day conference covers a range of topics and is designed for educators K-12.  Sessions will deepen and expand your imaginative practice or, if you are new, introduce you to Imaginative Education and its programs. We have a special focus on the Learning In Depth program, so if you want to learn what this program is about or if you want to enrich your current LiD work, there are workshops for you.  Learn from IE experts Dr. Annabella Cant, Dr. Gillian Judson, Dr. Kym Stewart and from practicing LiD teachers in our interactive sessions.

Cancellation policy

Refunds less a $25 CAD cancellation fee will be given for cancellations received in writing to ierg-ed@sfu.ca. No refunds after Friday, 05 Oct, 2018. Substitutions are permitted. No refunds for no-shows.

Imaginative Education Research Group The work of The Imaginative Education Research Group is dedicated to showing how learners’ imaginations can be routinely engaged in everyday classrooms. Unfortunately so much of the content of the curriculum is routinely taught as though its natural habitat is a textbook rather than the fears, hopes, and passions of real people that students too commonly find it dull and lifeless, and un-engaging. We believe the ideas, materials, and practices on this website can show how to bring the curriculum to life.
